Life is not smooth sailing every day. It’s been tough last night. I was worked up.
I couldn’t control my mouth. In reaction to a small, perhaps causal comments from my husband, I was completely devastated. “You have no respect for me,” that was my gut reaction.
Went out for a walk at the Peak for one hour. It was past mid-night. No more tourists. All was so peaceful and quiet. Poor K, who was a major cause of the argument, was already asleep when I returned home by 12:30am. Her book report was, of course, not completed.
Life is short, why waste it on such temper tantrum?
Is my ego so weak as to not able to withstand a single comment on my management of the kids?
Luckily, I turned around my mood cognitively, realizing how much mercy we all need, for we are all sinners.
No one can be right all the time. And we should be more open minded to accept others’ comments.

As I step into my fifth decade, really hope I can continue to grow as a person.
K failed to wake up as scheduled at 4:30am. She cannot finish Chinese book report and was very moody. I sought help with counsellors and teachers at school. Hope she will not mind me getting things into the open. We all need help some time in our life, don’t we?
C finish his art homework and breakfast in car with 3K. He will be in for another tough day, having to stay for the study skill group till 5pm and probably another tons of homework to tackle.
gotta pick up L from Stanley and then C from Western.
